INFORMATION MANAGEMENT - BMEGT20A033

The aim of the course is to introduce students to the practical foundations of information management. Within this, the aim is to be aware of the typical IT tasks (especially in medium and large companies, institutions), to understand the tasks of process of the development and operation of IT systems. Be able to evaluate the effectiveness of an IT investment, form a bridge between IT pro-fessionals and business areas as a manager, and be familiar with and successfully apply effective, web-based IT solutions.

1. Know the IT language, concepts and vocabulary used in companies and institutions
2. Know the tasks of IT process management
3. Know the methodology of IT developments
4. Know the types of IT systems, such as. ERP, CRM, business and artificial intelligence systems
5. Know IT trends, latest technological trends

1. Are able to effectively integrate into the work of an IT organization or business IT projects
2. Are able to understand at a high level the entire IT operation of the organization, even if they have a direct view of on-ly a narrow slice.
3. Are able to understand the business and IT objectives of IT systems
4. Are able to get involved in the development of IT systems from either a business or IT point of view and to monitor the development project with understanding
5. Are able to identify risks in IT operations
6. Are able to review IT finances, understand cost categories
7. Are able to identify IT opportunities that can be used to effectively improve business processes

1. Participate proactively in lectures, answers questions from (guest) instructors, asks questions that help to understand the topic.
2. Collaborate with the professor and fellow students in expanding knowledge.
3. Continuously gain knowledge by reading the recommended internet portals.
4. Are open-minded to the use of information technology tools.

1. Prepare for the examinations
2. Follow the curriculum, the published slides, the teaching aid from lesson to lesson.
3. Perform an independent project task in the framework of a presentation competition (optional)

Lectures, counting exercises, written and oral communication, using IT devices and techniques, optional indepentent and teamwork tasks, work-organization techniques.

A 2.2. pontban megfogalmazott tanulási eredmények értékelése A tanórákon való részvétel ajánlott, mert a ZH-k és a feladatok teljesítéséhez sok olyan háttérismeret hangzik el, ami a kiadott segédletekben nem található meg. Az órákon való aktív részvételért plusz pont járhat. A tantárgy teljesítésének értékelése pontozásos rendszerben történik. 50% érhető el a szorgalmi időszakban és 50% az írásbeli vizsgán.

A. Szorgalmi időszakban végzett teljesítményértékelések részletes leírása: 1. Összegző tanulmányi teljesítményértékelés (zárthelyik): a tantárgy tudás és képesség típusú kompetenciaele-meinek komplex, írásos értékelési módja zárthelyi dolgozat formájában, a félév során kétszer, amelyeken max. 50-50 pont szerezhető. 2. Részteljesítmény-értékelés (egyéni és csoportos tanulmányok): Max. 50 pont szerezhető az alábbi egyéni/csoportos tanulmányokkal B. Vizsgaidőszakban végzett teljesítményértékelés (vizsga) A vizsga elemei: 1. írásbeli teljesítményértékelés: írásbeli teszt a teljes félév tananyagából 2. évközi eredmények (pontszám) beszámítása. A vizsgán max. 150 pont szerezhető.

• 1. szintfelmérő értékelés (zárthelyi): 1/3, max. 50 pont
• 2. szintfelmérő értékelés (zárthelyi): 1/3, max. 50 pont
• részteljesítmény értékelés (egyéni és csoportos tanulmányok) : 1/3, max. 50 pont
• összesen: 100%, max. 150 pont

• írásbeli vizsga: 50%
• szorgalmi időszakban végzett teljesítményértékelések: 50%
• összesen: 100%

Az aláírás megszerzésének feltétele, hogy a 3.3. pont szerint megszerezhető pontszám legalább 50%-át elérje a hall-gató, azaz 75 pontot. Vizsga előtti ZH-nkénti minimumkövetelmény nincs. A Vizsga megírásának feltétele az aláírás megszerzése. A megszerzett aláírás a TVSZ szerinti időtartamig érvényes.

1) A két ZH-ból mindkettő pótolható vagy javítható bárminemű igazolás nélkül a pótlási héten. 2) Az egyéni és csoportos tanulmányok – jellegükből adódóan – nem pótolhatók, nem javíthatók, továbbá más módon nem helyettesíthetők. 3) Ha a hallgató – a szorgalmi időszakban szerzett pontokkal együtt – nem éri el az összesített 150 pontot, ak-kor a TVSZ vonatkozó szabályai alapján a vizsgatesztet javíthatja.

A 2.2. pontban megfogalmazott tanulási eredmények eléréséhez a tantárgy a következő tematikai blokkokból áll. Az egyes félévekben meghirdetett kurzusok sillabuszaiban e témaelemeket ütemezzük a naptári és egyéb adottságok szerint.
