Objectives
The objective of the course is to provide students with comp-rehensive, general knowledge that is also applicable in practice regarding the fundamental characteristics of organizations, with a particular focus on the structure of educational institutions. Stu-dents will become familiar with the societal role of public education institutions, their organizational goals, and their mission. They will understand that, beyond their educational and instructional func-tions, public education institutions also act as agents of individua-lization and socialization, and thus must comprehend the comp-lexity of their operations. They will learn about the relationship between the goals of national public education and institutional objectives and values, as well as how the pedagogical program, institutional strategy, and curricular requirements correspond to organizational forms that support educational aims and other ins-titutional responsibilities. In the area of organizational structure and functioning, students will study the hierarchical levels within edu-cational institutions, the distribution of responsibilities, the formal and informal organizational relationships, the operation of key orga-nizational units, and decision-making mechanisms. Students will also gain an understanding of the distinctive characteristics of organizational culture typical of public education institutions.

- 1. Understands the general characteristics of organizations and the basic models of organizational operation.

- 3. Understands the organizational characteristics of educational institutions and the organizational forms aligned with educational goals.
- 4. Understands the structure of educational institutions, the characteristics of their hierarchical levels, areas of responsibility, and decision-making levels.
- 5. Understands the types of organizational culture typical of educational institutions.

- 1. Is capable of understanding the functioning of the public education system, and based on this, is able to define the vision, mission, and strategy of their own institution.
- 2. Is able to recognize the societal role of educational institutions and to comprehend the complexity of their operation.
- 3. Is capable of identifying and understanding the organizational structure aligned with the mission and strategy of a given educational institution, as well as the leadership and management tasks required for its operation.
- 4. Understands the characteristics of the organizational culture and value system of educational institutions, and perceives the impact of organizational climate on pedagogical processes and learning outcomes.

- 3. Is capable of independent opinion formation regarding the alignment of national public education goals with institutional strategies and values.
