Objectives
The aim of the course is to present the most basic educational and labor market principles, rules, relationships, and procedures necessary for mentoring work from the perspective of public education and vocational training. Its main topics are the conceptual system and defining directions of the mentoring process, the monitoring and evaluation of pedagogical work, and the principles of teacher qualification. The possibilities and difficulties of cooperation within the teaching staff are discussed in the practical sessions.

- Is aware of the conceptual system of the mentoring process and its defining directions.
- Is familiar with the specifics of public education institutions (kindergarten, elementary school, high school, vocational training institutions, dormitories, art schools, specialized services, professional service providers), and the regulations that determine their operation.

- Able to identify routine professional problems, to explore, formulate and solve them (through the practical application of standard operations) the theoretical and practical background necessary for their solution.
- Able to plan and implement the short- and long-term strategy of a given institution.
- Able to monitor and evaluate pedagogical work by taking into account the principles of teacher qualification.

General Rules
The learning outcomes stated in point 2.2 are assessed based on the results of the research materials prepared during the semester. This may be modified by active participation in classes.
Performance assessment methods
A. A detailed description of the performance assessments carried out during the academic term: 1. Preparation of a career guidance lesson plan for a free choice of year group. Evaluation criteria: indication of the link with the curriculum, coherence between the course and the objectives/tasks, adequate developmental requirements, coherence between content and the types of activities entered, practical feasibility. Length: 3-5 A4 pages, Times New Roman font, 12 point font size, 1,5 point margins 2. active participation in lessons: attending all lessons, sharing own experience in lessons, completing lesson tasks. B. Assessment of performance during the examination period (examination): no examination
