Hungarian as Mother Tongue - BMEGT60S131

The objectives include the practice and development of accurate and eloquent language use, vocabulary expansion, work with synonyms, familiarising with norm concerning the use of the language as well as linguistic registers, awareness of sentence struc-tures, text building and cohesion with focus on the specific features of the Hungarian language. The subject also focuses on quota-tions, proverbs, adages, and idiomatic expressions and the problems of applying them on the spot in interpreting situations.

2. - are familiar with the characteristics of Hungarian sentence and text building;
3. -are familiar with the characteristics of language varieties;
4. -know the difference between meanings of paronyms

2. -are able to map up the communication scene; the linguistic needs of --the audience and can adjust their output accordingly;
3. are able to define or describe a thing or a notion.
4. -are able to find the proper equivalent for idiomatic expressions and quotations on the spot.
5. -are able to paraphrase a text in another style

Active participation in class work, 3-4 minute presentations, compiling glossaries, collecting quotations (with their L2 equiva-lents) mini exam at the end.

A vizsgaérdemjegy az évközi tanulmányi teljesítményértékeléseken elért eredmények teljes beszámításából áll, az így szerzett érdemjegy a vizsgaidőszakban tett írásbeli vizsgával javítható.

A hallgatók előadásait közösen értékeljük különböző módokon (egyéni tanári értékelés, társas és csoportos értékelés, szóban és írásban egyaránt). A félév során a hallgatók házi feladatokat készítenek (hangfelvétel, írásbeli szövegalko-tás stb.) megadott határidőre. A kurzus során jellemzően fejlesztő értékelési technikákat alkalmazunk, a hallgatók önértékelése folyamatos. A vizsgaérdemjegy az évközi tanulmányi teljesítményértékeléseken elért eredmények teljes beszámításából áll, az így szerzett érdemjegy a vizsgaidőszakban tett írásbeli vizsgával javítható.
