Objectives
The course is aimed at making students familiar with the basic concepts of international economics. Particularly, the course will be focused on the theories of international trade, the tools of trade policy, international finance and openeconomy macroeconomic policy.

Knowledge
- Knows the basic theories and typical features of international economics related to micro and macro organizati-onal levels of an economy.
Skills
- By applying theories and methods studied, students are able to explore, systematize and analyze facts and essential links; draw conclusions independently and make critical comments; prepare proposals for decision-making, bring decisions in a routine and also partly unknown - national or international - environment.

- Collaborates with the instructor and fellow students in expanding the knowledge.
- Open to expand her knowledge, to acquire new methods.
- Is critical towards herself, is open to correct her mistakes.
- Is open to understand and accept changes in economic and social environment.

Teaching methodology
Lectures, computational tasks, written communication, use of ICT tools and techniques, optional tasks prepared independently and in group work, work organization techniques.
