Objectives
This course is designed to present and analyse problems in the foreign language concerned, highly relevant to translators, relating to word classes, morphology, syntax, text linguistics and grammar and to enable the application of grammatical and stylistic rules.

- • Students are familiar with the basic grammar and spelling rules of the foreign language concerned;
- • they know the types and methods of reasoning;
- • they know the characteristics of the formation of sentences and texts in the foreign language concerned;
- • they are aware of the essential norms of correct language use.

- • they are able to produce well-structured, high quality and accurate texts in the foreign language concerned;
- • they are able to use the spelling rules learned;
- • they are able to use the reasoning methods learned;
- • they are able to assess the amount of time and work needed to complete a project;
- • they are able to provide and receive feedback.

- • They are expected to constantly improve their foreign language competence;
- • they are expected to deliver high quality written products.
Independence and responsibility
- • They complete assignments expected to be performed independently in an autonomous way.
