The aim of the subject is to introduce students to the basic concept, methods, main topics of sociology. The subject puts special emphasis on the topics that are crucial for the students’ future careers.

1. Knows the concepts, key relationships and theories needed to describe the regularity of social actions;
2. know the basic theories of game theory describing interdependent social relations,
3. know the theories describing the normative embeddedness of social action,
4. know the main experimental results in the field of behavioural economics.

1. Ability to plan, organise and carry out independent learning,
2. ability to understand and use action theory, game theory, normativity,
3. typical literature and library resources on influencing behaviour,
4. be able to recognise in everyday life the typical social situations analysed by the theory of action and to put into practice what they have learned,
5. is able to use its creativity.

1. It is open to learning and absorbing new information generated by action theory;
2. collaborate with the teacher and fellow students to develop their knowledge,
3. expand their knowledge through continuous learning, open to the use of information technology tools.
4. collaborate with fellow students in certain situations - as part of a team - to solve problems,
5. applies the methodological individualist approach of action theory to the interpretation of social phenomena.

A 2.2. pontban megfogalmazott tanulási eredmények értékelése a szorgalmi időszakban: előadások látogatása, a két zh írása. A kurzus teljesítésének feltétele a két zh megírása. A félév végi jegy megszerzéséhez a két zh összege képzi az alapot.

Szorgalmi időszakban végzett teljesítményértékelések részletes leírása: A zh-k rövid feladatválasz jellegűek, az első kettő anyagát az őket megelőző órák anyaga adja (azaz az el-sőét az 1-5 előadás, a másodikét a 8-13 héten elhangzott előadás. Elégséges teljesítés az összesített pont-szám 50%-ának elérésével lehetséges. A ZH-knak nem kell egyenként elégségesnek lenniük.
