The course presents the general and specific characteristics of the legal problems arising in the information society, explores existing regulatory solutions to new social and economic phenomena, and highlights the social risks posed by the regulatory demands arising from techno-logical developments. The course does not aim primarily to provide a detailed description of the substantive law, but rather to present the possible regulatory tools that are already available or are likely to become available in the context of new phenomena. The course is structured around six major themes: the regulatory framework for e-commerce, European and national legislation on data protection, intellectual property protection in the online environment, information technology issues in financial regulation, and regulatory issues for online platforms among the regulatory issues for new services emerging in the market value chain.

The teaching of the subject is based on the presentation of the basic system of regulation, the interrelationships bet-ween the different areas of law, and the discussion of cases illustrating specific problems, phenomena and conflicts. The lectures will be interactive, based on questions and comments from the students, sometimes drawing on their practical experience. The cases are presented using multimedia teaching materials.

A 2.2. pontban megfogalmazott tanulási eredmények értékelése félév végi, a vizsgaidőszak során teljesítendő írásbeli vizsga alapján történik. A tantárgy teljesítéséhez szükséges a vizsgadolgozat legalább 50% teljesítése.

Félév végi írásbeli vizsga: a tudás, képesség típusú kompetenciaelemeinek komplex, írásos értékelési módja írásbeli dolgozat formájában, a dolgozat állhat tesztkérdésekből, melyek az egyes fogalmak értelmezését és az azok közötti összefüggések felismerését; esszékérdésekből, melyek a lexikális tudást, valamint a szintetizáló képességet vizsgál-ják; a rendelkezésre álló munkaidő 60 perc; A félév folyamán meghatározott résztémákban készített esszékkel többletpontok (összesen 20 pont) szerezhetők, amelynek figyelembevételére a vizsgajegy pontszámában van lehetőség. Az esszé 4-5 oldal, maximum 20 ezer ka-rakter terjedelmű, az akadémiai írás szabályainak megfelelő (lábjegyzetelt, szerkesztett) írásmű. Benyújtására a szorgalmi időszak végéig van lehetőség.

1) A vizsgadolgozat javítása a TVSZ szerinti határidőben történik és a Neptunon keresztül kerül hivatalos köz-lésre. A Tanszék a tesztekbe való betekintés időpontját esetileg, a következő vizsgára jelentkezés határidejére tekintettel teszi közzé. 2) A vizsgán szerzett jegy javítására a TVSZ szerint van lehetőség. 3) A vizsgaidőszakban a TVSZ-nek megfelelő számú vizsgaalkalom meghirdetésére kerül sor. Javasolt az utol-só előtti vizsgaidőpontban az első vizsga megkísérlése.

A 2.2. pontban megfogalmazott tanulási eredmények eléréséhez a tantárgy a következő témakörökből áll. Az egyes félévekben meghirdetett kurzusok sillabuszaiban e témaelemeket ütemezzük a naptári és egyéb adottságok szerint.
