Objectives

The aim of the course is to introduce the ESG aspects of corporate governance, supply chain analysis and corporate governance systems used worldwide.

Academic results

Knowledge
  1. Knows the role of ESG in corporate governance.
  2. Knows the relationship, cycles and functions of ESG and the management systems.
  3. Knows the key corporate governance systems linked to the ESG.
  4. Knows the elements of supply chain, responsible sourcing requirements.
  5. Knows the risks and opportunities managed by ESG.
  6. Knows the impact and connections of tracking ESG metrics on corporate management.
  7. Knows the cause-and-effect connections between corporate ESG strategy and risks.
Skills
  1. Able to introduce ESG considerations into his/her own corporate governance system.
  2. Able to recognize synergies between elements of corporate governance systems and ESG expectations.
  3. Able to analyse supply chain elements from an ESG perspective.
  4. Able to understand the characteristics of corporate governance systems used worldwide.
