Objectives

The aim of the subject is for the student to gain an insight into the legal issues affecting children that arise in the course of dealing with children and everyday pedagogical work. Prepare the student to navigate the rights and obligations existing in the teacher-student-parent relationship system, to solve such problems that may arise during the pedagogical work ​

Academic results

Knowledge
  1. Knows the sources of law, the hierarchy of sources of law.
  2. Knows the Convention on the Rights of the Child, dated November 20, 1989 in New York.
  3. Knows the basic legislation currently in force defining the work of teachers, especially their provisions for students. (e.g. Act CXC of 2011 on national public education, Act LXXX of 2019 on vocational training, Government Decree 12/2020 (II. 7) on the implementation of the Act on Vocational Education, etc.)
  4. Knows the parts of the House Rules, the Organizational and Operational Regulations, and the Pedagogical Program that affect students.
  5. Knows the correct ways of handling data, images and information related to children, and the legal regulations dealing with this.
  6. Knows the correct procedure for conducting a disciplinary hearing from the point of view of children's rights.
Skills
  1. Able to find the child's best interest in decisions affecting the child and enforce it during the decision-making process.
  2. Able to navigate education and legal regulations affecting children.
  3. He is able to override his own interests depending on the interests of the child, and to make others do the same.
  4. Able to request appropriate help in cases that exceed his competences.

  1. 1. Assumes the role of a teacher, role model in society.
  2. 2. Believes and undertakes to protect and enforce the best interests of the child in decisions concerning the child.
Independence and responsibility
  1. He knows, understands and realizes that, as a result of his profession, he is part of a signaling system, from which as a result, he is charged with signaling.
  2. It authentically represents the child-centered worldview and social role of its profession.

Órai aktív részvétel és minimum 2, maximum 5 oldalas terjedelemben egy, a gyermekjogok valamely aspektusának az oktatásban való megjelenésének esettanulmányban való feldolgozása, annak az óra keretein belül egy prezentációval egybekötött bemutatása.

A 2.2. pontban megfogalmazott tanulási eredmények eléréséhez a tantárgy a következő tematikai blokkokból áll. Ezek hossza alapesetben 4 óra (két hét), ám a hallgatók összetételétől és az általuk javasolt problémák tárgyalásának jellegétől függően arányuk az egyes félévek során változhat. Az egyes félévekben meghirdetett kurzusok sillabuszaiban e témaelemeket ütemezzük a naptári és egyéb adottságok szerint.
