Environmental Psychology - BMEGT43M402

In the course, we deal with the communication aspects of the physical environment in a broad sense, more specifically with the environmental communication context of positive quality of life (happiness). Several popularizing books (see Literature below) have been published about the material-environmental context in Scandinavian societies for the fact that Scandinavian (mainly Danish and Swedish) people report greater happiness (hygge, i.e. lagom) than residents of other European countries. In the course, from the point of view of environmental communication, we will subject some books published on the subject to a critical analysis, and in the form of a mini-research, we will examine whether and, if so, how these sociophysical conditions prevail under Hungarian conditions. Students receive research assignments hour by hour. The next task is often revealed in class, as the course of the research matches the preliminary class examination process.

A kurzus teljesítési feltételei: jelenlét az órákon a TVsz. szerint 1 választott referátum a szakirodalmakból (prezentáció készítése, és egyeztetett időpontban a szóbeli referátum megtartása) aktív részvétel az órai munkában kutatási feladatok elvégzése és beszámoló ezekről (létszámtól függően csoportos vagy egyéni munkavégzés).
