Introduction to foreign trade transactions and international freight forwarding - BMEGT30A115

Objective of the course is to provide an understanding of the key market players, methods, risks, documents, national and international regulations of foreign trade transactions and of the international fright forwarding market.

1. The students know the main players of the foreign trade transactions and of the international fright forwarding market;
2. The students know the forms and possibilities of international business and of international fright forwarding;
3. The students know the process of concluding a contract;
4. The students know documents, securities, payment methods and instruments;
5. The students know the risk management methods of international business;
6. The students know the relevant national, European Union and international regulations.

1. The students are alble to choose the form of entering the foreign market that best suits the nature of the goods/services and the company and market conditions;
2. to plan the whole process of concluding an international contract;
3. to work with the documents of international trade and fright forwarding;
4. to choose the most advantageous method of payment,
5. to develop an appropriate risk management strategy;
6. to plan foreign trade and fright forwarding activities respecting the relevant national and international rules and regulations.

A 2.2. pontban megfogalmazott tanulási eredmények értékelése: a. A szorgalmi időszakban: A félév során 2 db zárthelyi dolgozat megírására kerül sor, amelyek egyszer díjmentesen pótolhatók; A dolgozatok egyenként minimum 50%-os teljesítése szükséges;

A. Szorgalmi időszakban végzett teljesítményértékelések részletes leírása: Zárthelyi dolgozat teljesítményértékelése: a tantárgyi tudás ismeret és képesség típusú kompetenciaelemeinek komplex, írásos értékelési módja zárthelyi dolgozat formájában. Az értékelés alapjául szolgáló tananyagrészt a tantárgy előadója határozza meg, a rendelkezésre álló munkaidő 60 perc.

1. A zárthelyi dolgozat a szorgalmi időszakban egyszer díjmentesen pótolható vagy javítható. 2. Amennyiben az 1) pont szerinti pótlással sem tud a hallgató félévközi érdemjegyet szerezni, úgy a pótlási időszakban – a szabályzatban meghatározott díj megfizetése és a díjköteles pótlási alkalomra való regisztráció mellett – egy további alkalommal ismételt kísérletet tehet a javításra.
