ECONOMIC HISTORY - BMEGT35ML12

The course’s main goal is to familiarize the students with fundamentals of universal money history, and the main events universal history and Hungarian economic history. The latter topic requires to review common historical knowledge via economic or political aspects. It is also the goal of the course that the historical events and data-like parts are not only to be acquired as individual encyclopedic knowledge, but the real purposes of the historical events would become understandable. The material is built on chronological logic.

5. 4. the main events (concerning the economic history) of Hungarian history,
6. 5. the economical aspect of the latter.

Assessment of the learning outcomes described under 2.2. is based on one written final exam test.

A. Detailed description of assesments during the exam period: 1. Written exam test: on the exam period, 60 minutes, 100 points. The test consists of multiple choise questions, definitions and short essays.
