Objectives

The course is aimed to prepare students studying engineering in German for their studies in Germany. Depending on the academic programmes and language proficiency needs, courses are launched at various levels. The exam prepa-ration course helps students to prepare for the TestDaF language exam required for completing accredited terms at the Karlsruher Institute of Technology. The second course is aimed to improve speaking skills and grammatical cor-rectness, while the third course focuses on verbal skills, as well as practising the grammatical structures that are in-dispensable for comprehension and text production.

Teaching methodology

During the learning process students often work in pairs or groups to give them more opportunity to practice their speaking skills.

  • Jegyzet, ill. a témák feldolgozásához előkészített videós és hanganyagok, igény esetén nyelvtani gyakorlókönyv. - Video and audio materials to be used with the course notes and the various topics, if needed, grammar practice books.

General Rules

Teljesítési követelmény: órákon való aktív részvétel (megengedett hiányzás 30%), valamint a félév során kiadott fel-adatok és/vagy dolgozatok teljesítése.

A hallgatók kisebb beadandókat, egyszerűbb prezentációkat készítenek, illetve szóbeli vagy írásbeli kommunikációs feladatokat oldanak meg, ez az alapja az értékelésnek.
