Objectives
The course is aimed to enhance the language competency of students with deficiencies in their A2-level language competence. The course is aimed to revise, systematise and practice the grammatical structures required for A2-level communication. The course equips the students for verbal and written communication in basic settings, using the grammatical rules they have learnt, therefore while aiming to improve all the skills, the learning process primarily focuses on learning and practising grammatical structures.

- • The students are familiar with the basic (morphological and syntactic) structures required for A2-level lan-guage proficiency and understand the rules associated with their use.

- • They are able to apply frequently used grammatical structures in A2-level verbal and written communication correctly.

- • The students accept that they still make basic grammatical mistakes, but strive to express themselves in a more elaborate way and improve their language competence continuously.
Independence and responsibility
- • The students check their own work independently or in cooperation with others.
- • They have the necessary strategies for developing their language competence independently and take re-sponsibility for improving their language proficiency.
Teaching methodology
Since the course focuses on grammatical correctness, they students complete a lot of tasks using various methods, while also practising grammatical structures in a verbal context, with functionality in mind.
