Objectives
This course is designed to present and analyse problems in current Hungarian language, highly relevant to transla-tors, relating to word classes, morphology, syntax, text linguistics and grammar.

- • Students are familiar with the spelling rules of the Hungarian language.
- • they know the characteristics of the formation of sentences and texts;
- • they are aware of the essential norms of correct language use.
Skills
- • Students are able to use the rules of spelling, sentence and text formation;
- • they are able to use the register in harmony with the genre of the specific text and the relevant project.
Attitude
- • They appreciate and show interest in language problems in general and issues with the correct use of the language;
- • they are expected to constantly improve their active and passive vocabulary;
- • they are expected to use sophisticated language;
- • they are expected to practise constant self-reflection, analyse and evaluate their own written products.
Independence and responsibility
- • They complete assignments expected to be performed independently in an autonomous way; • they assume responsibility for their performance.
