Teaching methodology
Students receive translation assignments (or exercises to improve their translation skills, such as revision or sum-marisation assignments) every week. As a key priority of this course is to teach students the essential key terms used in these areas, students also carry our terminology work related to a text or a subject-specific area (e.g. collection of terms, creation of glossaries). Revision and team translation exercises are designed to improve soft skills (independence, responsibility, self-assessment and group assessment).
Materials supporting learning
- A fordítási feladatok elvégzését az oktató által összeállított írott vagy szóbeli magyarázatok és az oktató által ajánlott további szakirodalmi források segítik.
- Assistance to the completion of translation assignments is provided through written or oral explanations created and literature recommended by the instructor.
