LEGAL BASICS - BMEGT55A401

The aim of the course is providing engineer students with a basic knowledge of law and the state. The compilation of the knowledge conveyed by the subject was motivated by two efforts: on the one hand, to support other compulsory socio-economic subjects of technical BSc training, micro- and macroeconomics, and on the other hand, to provide knowledge of public law and constitutional law knowledge for the engineers of the future. The knowledge material of the subject therefore consists of two major units: first it conveys knowledge about law and then about the state. In the field of legal knowledge, after defining the concept of law and reviewing the legal system, the course lists the prob-lems of law-making and application of law and clarifies the concepts of the most important legal institutions - legal personality, property, contract, and liability. Among the knowledge about the state, after fixing the concept of the state, it also describes the doctrine of the separation of power, reviewing the branches of power of the legislature, the executive, and the judiciary. The course concludes with the issue of state relations, with a special focus on the prob-lems of the institutions and law of the European Union. When discussing each area of knowledge, the subject pays special attention to trying to bring its thought processes closer to the interests and knowledge of engineer students.

1. The student is adequately conscious in the evaluation of the legal regulation of society, he/she is informed from many sources and consciously seeks alternative solutions.

The course teaches the basic legal system of law, contexts and it is based on the presentation of some of its challenges in the form of lectures as well as interactive quizzes following the lectures.

• Kötelező irodalomként a tanuláshoz felhasználható az előadásokon bemutatott slide show, amely a tantárgy Moodle felületéről letölthető.

A 2.2. pontban megfogalmazott tanulási eredmények értékelése a szorgalmi időszak során teljesítendő írásbeli tesztek alapján történik. A tantárgy teljesítéséhez szükséges a tesztek összesített eredményének legalább 50% teljesítése. Az órai feladatokban történő aktív részvétel a teszteken elért eredményeket javíthatja, azonban nem feltétele a sikeres teljesítésnek. Az aláírás feltétele a foglalkozások 70%-án való részvétel.

A szorgalmi időszakban végzett teljesítményértékelések részletes leírása: A tudás, képesség típusú kompetenciaelemeinek komplex, írásos értékelési módja írásbeli dolgozat for-májában, a dolgozat állhat tesztkérdésekből, melyek az egyes fogalmak értelmezését és az azok közötti ösz-sze-függések felismerését; esszékérdésekből, melyek a lexikális tudást, valamint a szintetizáló képességet vizsgálják; a rendelkezésre álló munkaidő 15-90 perc;

• Részteljesítmény értékelés (házi feladatok): 30

Az aláírás feltétele a foglalkozások 70%-án való részvétel.

1) A zárthelyi dolgozat javítása a TVSZ szerinti határidőben történik és a Neptunon keresztül kerül hivatalos közlésre. A Tanszék a tesztekbe való betekintés időpontját esetileg teszi közzé. 2) A zárthelyi dolgozatokkal szerzett jegy javítására a TVSZ szerint van lehetőség.

A 2.2. pontban megfogalmazott tanulási eredmények eléréséhez a tantárgy a következő témakörökből áll. Az egyes félévekben meghirdetett kurzusok sillabuszaiban e témaelemeket ütemezzük a naptári és egyéb adottságok szerint
