Objectives
The subject gives the curricular framework for the preparation of the thesis. The curriculum provides two such subjects Thesis 1 and Thesis 2 in the fifth and sixth semesters, respectively, to complete a dissertation with thorough work with in-depth erudition work by the end of the program. With the help of the supervisor, the student continues his / her dissertation research work. At the beginning of the semester the student receives a detailed assignment of the thesis work which is the official acceptance of the thesis topic and work by the Faculty and the Program; and it is a special guidance for the assessment of the submitted work. The aim - taking into account and considering individual progress differences - is that by the end of the semester the student is to finish and submit the thesis that meets the formal and disciplinary requirements.

Teaching methodology
The subject gives the curricular framework for the preparation of the thesis. The general rules of the work of the student and the supervisor are provided by the University’s Code on Education and Examination and the dissertation regulations of the Faculty. The special expectations are set jointly by the supervisor and the student at the beginning of the semester. According to the regulations, the student can ask additional counseling assistance either inside or outside the institution.

General Rules
The course is to be assessed according to the following guidelines – The requirements for a distinguished (excellent, very good) assessment of the student performance is independent, continuous, proactive, accurate, in-depth, creative work, and its continuous feedback of the work in the consultation process. – The requirements for a distinguished (good) assessment of the student performance is independent, continuous, proactive, accurate, in-depth work, and its continuous feedback of the work in the consultation process. – The requirements for a satisfactory level assessment of the student performance is the continuous, accurate, independent work that requires the encouragement of the consultant, and its continuous feedback into the consultation process. – The condition for a pass grade is the continuous work that results in some progress with a substantive encouragement on the behalf of the supervisor and its continuous feedback of the work in the consultation process.
Performance assessment methods
The supervisor can specify the general assessment criteria and inform the student in time and in detailed about the exact requirements. From the supervisor, the student receives continuous feedback on his / her work and the partial results of the dissertation work (research design, data collection, data processing, data representation, text versions, drafts). At feedback, it is recommended to assess the work done according to the assessment criteria of the thesis.

Retake and late completion
Retakes and make-ups are regulated by the University’s Code on Education and Examination. The preparation of the thesis requires continuous work. The supervisor should make sure of the progress during the consultations and give feedback to the student. It is possible to postpone the submission of some assignments if it does not endanger the achievement of the goals of the subject for the given semester.
